Original Poster 1 point · 4 years ago. You could set the e17k amp on low gain and connect it to your headphone amp via the e17k headphone out instead of line out. You'll now be able to use tone control and balance from your fiio and double amplification will not be an issue as the e17k amp on low gain is not particularly powerful. How to download and update firmware fiio e17k firmware update Download digital photo Cameras firmware : most of the camera s internal parts including lenses, autofocus, LCD screens etc. are controlled by microprocessors. Microprocessors are controlled by firmware that enables the device to do the job it was purchased for. Fiio E17 is a "plug and play" device so there isn't any drivers available (that I can find) on the Fiio website. When I uninstall the Fiio driver, then re-plug the E17 via USB, the driver will appear again. From what I understand, it looks like it is using Windows USB audio driver. Please see attached picture. As there are many drivers having the same name, we suggest you to try the Driver Tool, otherwise you can try one by on the list of available driver below.
